Week 4

Ansel Adams is one of the most famous photographers in America. He spent lots of times running from places to places to shoot landscape photographs. His photographs have great composition and present true American scene to the world. Indeed, people know more about the area they reside when they see Adams' photographs. Like most other photographers, he always composes the pictures in his eyes before he actually takes out his camera. It is significant to photographers that time and weather of the photo is captured. Golden time, which means dawn or dusk, will be the best time to press the shutter. It is true that all elements in the landscape photographers seem really important, and that is why photographers normally focus as many elements as possible. However, photo will be more interesting if shallow depth of field or foreground technique is added to the photo.
Frankly speaking, I did not put as much effort as I planned into this assignment. One of the reason is I was being procrastinating. Another one is I was getting disappointed when I got into trouble of shooting interior pictures. It is interesting to learn about the creative aspects of shooting architectural photography. Especially, when we analyses the element of photography in class.
